I wish there was a zero star. I hired Mr. Policastros law firm to represent me on some very serious charges. My 1st court date the lawyer was 1-1/2 hours late because when I called the office they didn't know who was coming. That date got postponed. The 2nd court date again a DIFFERENT lawyer was 1/2 hour late. That got postponed. The 3rd court date got postponed. Now mind you I am paying for all these hours the attorneys are spending in court just to postpone it. Finally the last court date, they sent some fast talking jailhouse lawyer who conferred with the prosecutor. He told me "just plead guilty to these charges and there won't be any jail time" not telling me what I'm pleading guilty to except DWI. Well here it is 1 year later and I'm getting custody of my son returned to me. UNTIL DCP&P does a background check on me to find I pled guilty to....get this, Failure to turn over CDS to a police officer. That was NEVER one of my charges. That is the most bogus charge anyone could get. Everyone knows that the police can a) search you. In the event they do not find anything, they can then b) send you to a hospital to have a cavity search done. Because of this charge I will not be getting custody of my son. I have called Mr. Policastros office MANY times only to be told that he ONLY sees clients on Saturdays between 10 am and 2 pm. So it's like herding cows. They get everyone into the office on Saturday mornings and get them in and out with no personalization. I asked his secretary to please have the lawyer who made the deal please call me. Well it's been a week and guess what??? No phone call from ANYONE at his office. I wouldn't recommend this law firm if they were the last one in existence. Your better off defending yourself.

Although the receptionists are very busy and the office is always packed, Mike P and Greg Smith do a wonderful job. They are amazing attorneys and will take care of you.
